About Veronica
With the Queer Gaze Tours, we ask guest tour guides from outside the museum to reflect on the exhibitions at the Amsterdam Museum from a Queer perspective. Which stories about the city are currently missing? And which ones deserve more attention?
Veronica Lubi is an undocumented LGBTQIA+ activist from Uganda. Veronica advocates for the rights of queer undocumented people in the Netherlands and is part of the art collective Art to Support, with whom she exhibited in W139 during the exhibition series Hosts. She is an active member of the bi-monthly queer undocumented community meetings Queer to Support, facilitated by the NGO Here to Support.

The Alliance Actions for Visibility
This Queer Gaze Tour takes place in connection with the Alliance Actions for Visibility. This Alliance consists of Amsterdam Museum, Pan Asian Collective, Here to Support, S.P.E.A.K., Stichting Mejah, 1ouderpunt, Art.1 and Publieke Omroep Amsterdam.
The Alliance Actions for Visibility consists of several initiatives working together to promote the visibility and representation of underrepresented communities in Amsterdam. By making room for underrepresented stories about Amsterdam, told by Amsterdam residents, the Alliance strives for equal opportunities, recognition and inclusion in the city.
