She works in various media, such as writing and scriptwriting; utilizing video, performance, and textile; and painting and sculpting. Danish is fascinated by human communication, in particular those moments when we try to make ourselves understandable, but things end up in total miscommunication. She often explores linguistic structures in her work, in which humor plays an important role. Danish studied at the American University in Cairo and California College of the Arts in the United States.
