Victor Sonna (Yaoundé, Cameroon, 1977) is a multidisciplinary visual artist.
In his work, Sonna moves between Cameroon and the Netherlands as he investigates the experience of being amidst two cultures. His work is often born out of tensions between cultures and styles, resulting in artworks that alienate and explore boundaries. His creative process usually manifests in assemblage techniques, ranging from sculptures and paintings to works of metal and textile. He studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and the St. Joost Academy in Den Bosch.
