We Sell Reality is a socially rebellious label, established as a collective comprising a group of roughly 15 social designers.
Besides making products and installations, We Sell Reality creates performative interventions in the public space. Most members of the collective were fleeing their home countries when they came to the Netherlands and found themselves in regulatory limbo. The collective considers the paradox of closed borders for some and open borders for others. For immigrants who lack the financial capacity and proper passport, such borders prove almost impossible to cross.
