Women of Amsterdam - an ode

Do you also find it strange that women are so invisible in the story of Amsterdam? The Amsterdam Museum thinks it is high time to change this with you. In the educational program accompanying the exhibition Women of Amsterdam - an ode, students are transported through 750 years of Amsterdam from a female perspective and write their own ode to an Amsterdam woman in letter form. All odes will be included in the collection of the Amsterdam Museum!

For primary education, secondary education (havo/vwo) and preparatory secondary vocational education (vmbo) we have developed educational programs. The program for vocational education (mbo) is still in development.

Please note: At the moment, we only offer the educational programs in Dutch. The information on the level-specific webpages is therefore in Dutch. However, please contact c.versluijs@amsterdammuseum.nl if you wish to book this program in English. Together we can discuss the possibilities.
